About Social Security Disability
Social security disability (SSD or SSDI) are federal programs that assist who are unable to work a full-time job due to a physical or mental disability. SSD has a strict set of standards for who can receive disability benefits -> applicants filing with representation are more likely to receive benefits on time with the lowest chance of denial

How to qualify?
- Do you have sufficient work credits
- Credits are earned when you pay FICA taxes
- You likely qualify if you paid in 5 of the last 10 years
- Do you have a medical condition that prevents you from working a full-time job?
- You must provide documented evidence of how your condition prevents you from doing specific work activitiesÂ
- Have worked in jobs covered by social security
Is your condition severe?
Your condition must significantly limit your ability to do basic work-related activities, such as lifting, standing, walking, sitting or remembering – for at least 12 consecutive months
